Moving office
Be connected on day one at the new address.
Connectivity is the single most common thing businesses leave too late when relocating. Full fibre and leased lines can take weeks to install — starting early is what makes a move painless.
Your move checklist
What needs sorting — and when.
Ideally start eight to twelve weeks before your move date, especially if a leased line is involved.
- Check what connectivity is available at the new premises
- Order broadband or leased line early to cover installation lead times
- Confirm you can keep your existing phone numbers
- Plan data cabling and Wi-Fi coverage for the new layout
- Agree cease dates for services at the old address
- Schedule the cutover outside your busiest hours
- Update your phone system routing and voicemail greetings
- Have support on hand for the first day in the new office
